More and more car manufacturers are developing “greener” versions of their popular brands. The infusion of Hybrid technology has made a great stir in the automotive world history and has its popularity and the growing concern for the environment, which included the demand for these types of vehicles, urging more vehicle manufacturers to produce more from their vehicles into hybrid-paste train to snatch at potential consumers in the market.
One of the newest in the batch-2007 hybrid car lineup is the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid, the third in hybrid vehicles from Toyota. The Camry Hybrid has a performance of the everyday life of six-cylinder engine with the fuel economy of a four-cylinder engine. Although it is not as economical as the first hybrid Toyota Prius, the Camry Hybrid is much better than the regular Camry.
Never be left behind, giant Japanese car manufacturer Honda production, has also the Hybrid Accord and Civic Hybrid. These two sedans offer what are known as hybrids, fewer emissions and less consumption.
The 2007 Honda Accord Hybrid alone combines luxury and fuel economy that really environmentally friendly. Produced even with a V6 engine, 253 hp, you can be sure that you get more miles per gallon. It is a nice change to know that you get the luxury and power you want and still the fuel that we all deserve.
Then there is the 2007 Civic Hybrid which continuously provides the true essence of hybrid technology. Its ingenious engineering has rightly earned it its Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) rating. This means that you not only get from point A to point B in less gas consumption, but not to save the environment by adding to the pollutants already swarming over them.
Entry into the hybrid car race in 2007 is General Motors second Hybrid vehicle, the 2007 Aura Hybrid sedan. This is in competition with other high-end hybrid cars like the Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Honda Accord Hybrid. Sporting a V6 engine as well, the Aura Green Line to offer maximum performance with minimum paid gas. Its engineers claim that it will be possible to generate 20 percent savings in fuel economy over its conventional model.
Nissan has announced that in 2007 Altima Hybrid is offered and has offered test drives and an insight into the development of the vehicle. In a deal inked with Toyota and Nissan will be developed in five years dedicated to the project with the hybrid technology from Toyota.
Rumored to be unveiled the first hybrid model, Volkswagen said to be preparing a full-hybrid car for 2007, but it is not known yet which car model they will be infusing the technology. Recent rumors said that, on the Jetta for the upscale engine or in the Passas for the four-cylinder would be class.
With more and more car manufacturers, the potential of hybrid vehicles, it won’t be long until all cars produced with the hybrid technology to be infused. And as oil prices continue to rise and environmental concerns are growing, we can all be sure that these vehicles will be welcomed with open arms.
